Antigua to Trinidad on a Franchini 37L
In twelve hours from now I’ll be at the Ottawa airport, waiting to board a plane for Antigua. Recently, my friend Anthony wrote: “Robert, I can’t envisage the rest of my life without a boat.” And true to himself, this sailor, who is pushing 80 years of age, went out and bought a boat located in Antigua. I was one of the lucky ones to be picked for crew to assist him with the 600-mile sail to Trinidad. It will be a fairly quick trip, as Anthony needs to be home by December 15. Attached is a picture of the boat, a Franchini 37. For more information, see the broker’s add: http://www.yachtworld.com/boats/2000/Franchini-37L-2797329/Antigua-%26-Barbuda#.WCY6mC0rLIV
